If you would like to learn diving, the Open Water diving course here at Manta Point will introduce you in an enjoyable and
safe way to the fascinating underwater world. As an experienced diver you may enroll in continuing education to increase your
practical and theoretical knowledge while fine-tuning/enhancing your diving skills to make your
dive trips more enjoyable and safe for you and your scuba diving buddies.

Discover Scuba Diving
- not everyone is a natural born diver nor can one imagine how it feels to breathe under water without ever having tried it out. This is the reason why we offer this course for the ones of you who are sceptical or even shaky about the issue of breathing under water with scuba gear; but who are - on the other hand - too curious to not at least give the experience of weightlessly floating around a try.
The discover scuba diving experience always takes place at the famous Similan Islands. You simply join the group as a snorkeller and will, after a short introduction to the gear and techniques on the beach, conduct your very first dive in shallow and crystal clear water under the guidance of a highly experienced PADI dive instructor.
Group size max. 3 discover scuba students per instructor.
Open Water Diver
- this beginner course includes classroom sessions as well as pool sessions and four open water dives. Successful students will complete this course as certified divers, able to dive all over the world and to rent dive equipment at any reputable dive shop without instructor or divemaster supervision.
The easy understandable step by step course teaches diving in simple terms, focussing on fun and safety. Beside classroom sessions, videos and practical modules conducted in the swimming pool ensure that students are well prepared for their first open water dives at sea after only one and a half day. Day two will be rounded out by the very first dive to a depth of max. 6 metres only a few metres from shore. Day three includes three exciting dives and under water training sessions at our house reef or at the Similan Islands.

Advanced Open Water Diver
- this course consists of 5 dives and self study theory modules Each dive has a theme, from which 2 (navigation and deep dive) are mandatory. Three dives are optional and can be chosen from a list of very exciting options, such as:
UW/naturalist, wreck diver, search and recovery, peak performance buoyancy, night diving, UW photography, drift diving and multilevel diving.
Emergency First Response
- this course teaches the basics of medic first aid. The theoretical and practical knowledge taught in this course can help to safe lifes after any accident.
Learn the life-saving techniques used by rescue teams, firemen and medics all over the world in only one day!
Rescue Diver
- beside teaching life-saving techniques at sea, stress management and self rescue techniques, this course puts emphasis on the prevention of dive accidents by learning how to recognize potential problems before they arise at an early stage.
The PADI rescue Diver course consists of 12 open water modules and classroom sessions.
Divemaster
- the first professional step on your PADI ladder to success as a professional in the diving industry! A divemaster assists a PADI instructor during training sessions and is able to guide groups of certified divers under water.
To be able of being certified as PADI divemaster, you need 60 logged dives, determination, a professional attitude and your theoretical knowledge must be equivalent to that of a PADI instructor.
